Hello!

I'm Mrs Shepherd and I have been teaching at St John's for the past 4 years. 

Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a scientist and, as our school's science coordinator, I have a real passion for inspiring and supporting our children to be enthusiastic, curious scientists! 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading and cooking new, exciting recipes. 

In our classroom, we work hard to use our prior learning to develop and deepen our understanding across the curriculum. We focus on building the skills of resilience and independence in our learning along with how to share or discuss ideas in a meaningful, respectful way.
