Every day we come together for collective worship, gathering in the main school hall or our classrooms. These moments give us time to reflect, share, and strengthen our sense of community.

On Fridays, our worship is a special celebration where we recognise achievements across the school, including our Shining Stars of the Week from each class, a Reading Fred Superstar, and a Headteacher’s Award. We also pick Values Champions from raffle tickets which have been earnt throughout the week focusing on our values of Service, Hope, Integrity, Nurture and Empathy.

Worship Leaders

At the junior site we have one worship leader from each class. These children are responsible for planning and leading acts of worship that are age-appropriate, inclusive, and meaningful. They choose songs, prayers, readings, and reflections that support the school’s values and (where relevant) its religious ethos. The worship leader helps create a calm, respectful atmosphere, encourages pupil participation, and works with staff and students to ensure worship supports spiritual, moral, and community development.
