A MESSAGE FROM OUR HEADS OF SCHOOL

It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to St. John’s CE Primary School and our school website. We hope that the website gives you a flavour of the exciting, caring and friendly learning environment that we provide for the children.

The site is continually being developed and updated and our long-term aim is to be able to provide you with all the information you need about the work of the school so that children can regularly share what they are doing with their parents and that visitors can get ’a flavour’ of what a great place to learn St. John’s Primary School is.
Through our website you will be able to find out about the many exciting learning opportunities our pupils can take part in. We recognise the valuable contribution that a wide range of after-school clubs, educational visits and residential experiences can make towards children's personal and social education, as well as supporting ongoing curriculum work.

It is a privilege to be the Heads of such a wonderful school! The commitment of the staff team, the lovely children and supportive parents make it a joy to work here. All of the staff at St. John’s work very hard to make lessons interesting and to help each child find their best way of learning. As a result, our pupils are keen to learn and they feel proud of their success in all areas of the curriculum.

At St. John's we provide a broad and balanced education, aiming to create a positive and stimulating learning environment where children are happy, can grow in self-confidence and reach their full potential. We constantly strive for excellence in all that we do, within the Christian context of caring for all. We hope that your child will enjoy learning at St. John’s, be a happy member of our school community, and that during their time here they will acquire the relevant skills, knowledge and attitudes to face their future challenges.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website, please come back often and join us in celebrating your children’s achievements. Miss L. Bonter and Mr C Gibson
